fudoki, this is 1991 spring tour. Nice words about Brent, though. These shows, with Vince and Bruce were epic as well. All three nights. But, yes, I thought the 90 Omni run was better(with Brent).

Subject: Another fabulous Atlanta show
This show is amazing in the quality of Jerry's voice, and how clear and accurate most of the lyrics are.
Can't help but wonder why there are no AUD tapes up here. GD Tickets, god bless 'em, always gave me seats in the same spot, in one of the first three rows, Loge, above the Tapers section and there was no shortage of folks taping on all three of these shows...?
Regardless, this show, and this whole series, are Golden!
To me, this series is very special because it was a pinnacle for the GD, the last tour with Brent. After Brent's death in August 1990 the Band seemed to struggle, off and on, ever afterward with Jerry working so hard to pull the load and regain the effortless togetherness we hear in this, their last shows in Atlanta with Brent.

From 2001 to 2008 hoping to hear him re-create this sound, but he could not, because he had no Jerry.

Never underestimate the power of ensemble.

Listen to the accent chording Hornsby rakes Stella.
Utterly divine, heaven sent.

Bobby, Vince, Billy and Mickey all in tune all in to it all to gether. Generosity of spirit defined.

This entire concert flows.

Shows refined.

18 years ago -- today - tonight....thank you…
Both to the boyz and Archive.org

Crispy...sounds kinda like an 80's show -- but, yes..I was here...at the Omni…Ted Turner was the evil empire….
god bless…we went from Reagan to Bush…we were still a year from Clinton…

at the time - we all thought these were cheez shows...

But lets listen...
they were trying...
great keys
great licks
great vocals...
grat MIDI
a little fast -- but thats the Omni...
big and lit at the same time...
I wanted the Brown Eyed to be great, but listen again...its cliche and fast...
god, Jerrbear sounded good in 91 - no wonder they taped it...

Liked the Jed...who doesnt like a good Jed?
LOVE the drop to the MUSIC
No matter how fast -- and throw away -- Dont Ease rocks...
Cant stand Victim…
The Foolish is very happy – and sad…perfect – alittle fast but what are you gonna do…
Crazy F’s…okay…
again…everything’s exactly 18 years ago --- but this is good….

I cant do this any more…if these were not people I love – I’d say why? since this was another life situation…I say thank you

My first show and a nice solid one to get me started. Lengthy, well-played first set and an interesting second set. Highlights include Brown-Eyed Women, Music Never Stopped, Foolish Heart, a bluesy Truckin'> Smokestack, and a rockin' Sugar Mag to end. Great times! Recording could be better - but who cares?!? Still sounds good enough for me.

Victim>foolish>crazy? Nice. Got scared at first and thought it might be the standard Victim>Crazy>playin>Terrapin that popped up a lot. First set is nice as well. 3 1/2 mydlands on this baby

Yet another 4 star show for spring '91. Set II is really energetic and well executed. Foolish>Crazy
is the perfect double Jerry gem!

Glitch on GSET, static on TMNS. Very minor blemishes that really don't affect the listenability.

Some static during TMNS but the recording is top notch. The show however is even better. A decent SBD of this had circulated in my parts and I had many friends boasting about aquiring a very hot recent show. I waited 'til I got my copy before I bragged about being there and close...OMFG! I was on the side right behind Bruce, I could have spit on him!!!!!!! EVERYTHING is played well! OKAY download "Foolish Heart" and I won't have to say anymore. If you know a better FH , tell me the date. You won't be sorry, promise....

Subject: Great ATL Run
While the consensus strongest night was 4/5, don't sleep on 4/3 or 4/4, each of which had some real highlights. Check out the Truckin>Smokestack (my first one!) and the sick watchtower out of space.
